An unusual foray into abstract design, this small quilt was begun in a workshop with Brian Dykhuizen in which we gradation dyed and painted our own fabrics and then used them in abstract compositions using Brian's unusual technique of inlaying geometric shapes. The quilt was further embellished with gold foil, hand sewn seed beads and machine stitching.
