Ristra Rhapsody

Ristra Rhapsody was made for a friend who loves the color and taste of chilis. Pieced from patterns in Ruth McDowells Pieced Vegetables, I used commercial printed cottons and pieced the blocks in the form of a long New Mexican ristra.
Each chili pod was free motion quilted to give it some form and definition.
