Made for a close friend and advanced antique porcelain collector, this quilt uses a traditional setting for
21st century imaging.
Digital images of 18th century English pottery and porcelain teapots - some from the collector's own collection - were printed on treated fabric with an inkjet printer and machine appliquéd into the central squares which were made of commercial printed cottons. It was machine quilted on a domestic machine.
