Some of My Best Friends Are Antiques

Begun in a class at Pacific Intentional Quilt Festival in October 2008, with teacher Laura Wasilowski, this little quilt allowed me to fuse (no pun intended) my passion for quilting with my other professional life as an antiques dealer.

This is a whimsical fantasy view of our Los Angeles living room using some of Laura's own hand dyed fabrics as well as batiks and commercial hand dyes. All the elements are fused and embellished with foil and hand and machine stitching.
